By knowing a bit about the type of poker hands which can be taken in a game, you stand to have more of a chance of winning a game. While it may seem rather confusing at first you will soon understand which cards are used in the various poker hands.

The main fact which you will need to keep in mind is that these poker hands can change for the different variations of the game.
